Paradigm Procurement, a HUB qualified joint venture between a State of Texas HUB firm (Brownstone Associates) and a certified veteran-owned small business (Covalus), is based right here in the Metroplex. Collectively, we have more than 50 full-time employees serving healthcare clients such as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Penn Medicine, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and several U.S. military labs and hospitals. Our Dallas-based staff includes specialists in biomedical engineering, sourcing, procurement and acquisition, and BIM/REVIT coordination.
PARADIGM PROCUREMENT SERVICES
Our niche is the planning, sourcing, procurement, and (optionally) installation of items needed by hospitals. Much of our expertise has been leveraged by our hospital clients as they fit-out and occupy new or renovated spaces, but we’re also able to address supply chain needs for ongoing hospital operations.

Brownstone Associates is certified as a HUB and MWBE firm at state, county, and federal levels. Brownstone staff has 10 to 30+ years’ experience providing professional services in procurement, architectural, engineering, environmental, and construction disciplines. Brownstone has successfully worked on large commercial, institutional, and military projects, supported from its office in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Covalus is a veteran-owned professional services firm that performs program management, medical equipment planning, transition planning, technology planning, and FF&E procurement for clients across the U.S. Since 1998, Covalus has become one of the leading national firms in planning, budgeting, and executing healthcare facility projects, working for a number of academic, private, and government institutions across 40 states.

Eric Brown has a 27-year track record of developing relationships and generating revenue and new opportunities for clients. Eric is known for his ability to interact with senior-level executives and managers. He acquired his experience in several industries, including federal government, private companies, and technology firms.
WALT MASSEY
Having led the planning or construction of more than 11 million square feet of hospitals valued at more than $7 billion, Walt is adept at building high-performing teams for both public and private owners. He has worked closely with our government services team, providing procurement and installation of more than $100 million in medical and lab equipment, technology, and other non-medical furnishings.
EDWARD J. HERNANDEZ
With more than 25 years experience and a clinician for healthcare prior to a career in planning and consulting, Edward is the expert in medical equipment, furnishing and consumables, having led teams on planning and procuring over $3 billion in assets and activated more than 12 million square feet of newly constructed space.
